The Inclusive Development Programme and the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a continuation of successful cooperation in order to provide support in relation to the development and implementation of policies and regulations in the field of spatial planning and construction, as well as policy dialogue, exchange of experiences and knowledge between local and central institutions on territorial integration and sustainable development practices.

The Programme and the Ministry provide hand-in-hand guidance to municipalities on establishing planning structures and developing planning products and processes, strengthening the democratic engagement of citizens in decision-making, and delivering services to citizens through inter-municipal cooperation.
