Today, the “Inclusive Development Programme”/ UN-Habitat with Municipalities of Zvecan, Zubin Potok, Mitrovica North and Leposavic and officers of MESP had a one-day training workshop together on the state-of-play, progress and outlook on the spatial planning front.

The issues like spatial database design/ development, maintenance and management, stakeholder management plans with a focus on data related activities, tools in support of formulating the municipal development plan for the municipal profile, were presented and discussed extensively in this workshop.

We have also jointly revised the work plan activities for Municipal Development Plan, Strategic Environmental Assessment, Stakeholder Management Plan and trainings, review of the schedule for implementation, Terms of References of the Municipal Planning Team and Municipal Environment Management Team and sharing the responsibilities for the implementation.

The comprehensive approach of our partner municipalities in the planning process enables the overcoming of all challenges toward final documents in support of sustainable development.
