In an initial public meeting organized by Inclusive Development Programme/ UN-Habitat and Municipality of Skenderaj together with their mandated Company for developing the Municipal Zoning Map, Vizion Project; the preliminary zoning of Skenderaj Town was presented and discussed with the citizens, landowners, developers, civil society and municipal officers. Several issues were discussed between the 
participants and organizing parties such as zones and their construction conditions, road and public infrastructure, lack of certain urban functions that need to be added, etc.

The meeting was complemented by the Mayor’s sincere call to participants for inclusive and qualitative participation, the advises on the matter provided from the representatives of Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning as well as the questionnaire disseminated to the participants and published online.

The process of developing the Municipal Zoning Map is ongoing with the short term focus on preliminary zoning of rural area.
