The progress and results achieved related to municipal spatial planning database were presented to steering committee and municipal planning team.

The project’s team presented to the participants the entire process of the project implementation. They explained in details the process of identification of additional data required for upgrading the existing database, collection of data from the municipal departments, field work, central level institutions and public and private enterprises, data processing and migration and at the end provided an example of database’s layers.

The meeting proceeded with interactive discussion regarding the possibility of using the database by other municipal sectors, the necessity for training the municipal staff on how to use the database and engagement/appointment of a staff member for maintaining and updating the database.
