The first phase of data collection for the urban area of the Municipality of Vushtrri was completed

24/07/2019

After a voluminous and challenging work, the first phase of data collection for the urban area of the Municipality of Vushtrri ended. During this period over 30,000 objects / structures (for the entire municipality) were digitized, data were collected for about 10,000 objects and 500 streets, and many institutions were contacted at the central, regional and local level, to provide other information needed for the drafting of the Municipal Zoning Map.

All these data are migrated in GIS and soon will be processed along with citizen comments received from the first public meeting held in March 2019. This process is the first step towards the zoning process for the urban area of the Municipality of Vushtrri, which will then be opened and discussed with the public.

Also, as a continuation, data collection in the rural areas of the Municipality of Vushtrri has already begun by assistants and volunteers engaged in this process.

Municipality of Vushtrri, respectively the Directorate for Urbanism and Environment Protection (supported by the Inclusive Development Programme / UN-Habitat), thanks all the parties involved so far in this process, in particular assistants and volunteers engaged in digitization, collection and processing of all these data.

Thank you and a good luck in your further work.
