Evaluation of Municipal Development Plan in relation to the Integrated Municipal Database and drafting of the new Municipal Development Plan.

From the 9th to the 12th of July 2018, a “Municipal Development Plan (MDP) evaluation workshop” for the partner municipalities of Mitrovica South and Mitrovica North, facilitated by the UN-Habitat Kosovo Office, took place in Hotel “Molika”, Bitola, Macedonia. The event is framed within the Inclusive Development Programme with the participation of the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning (MESP) and the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA). The main purpose of the workshop was to:

1. Foster inter-institutional cooperation by enabling professional exchange between Mitrovica South and North at the technical level and supporting the development of a road-map for respective sectoral planning processes and,
2. Initiate the MDP evaluation process and improve the understanding of MDP evaluation tools among municipal officials.

The methodology applied in the workshop consisted of presentations followed by plenary discussions, and of working sessions in which group exercises were conducted and presented, according to the prepared evaluation tools and matrices.
