In April 2006, the Municipal Spatial Planning Support Programme (MuSPP) was launched. This programme is funded by the Swedish Government through the Swedish International Development Agency, and implemented by UN-HABITAT in Kosovo. The Programme provides technical assistance to the six secondary cities, to help strategic and inclusive planning occur.
The main objective is to strengthen local capacities to set up sustainable urban planning processes, to implement measures and actions and to monitor the urban development. “Making Better Cities Together”, the motto of MuSPP, can only be achieved through intensive cooperation with our counterparts. These are the municipalities of the six secondary cities in Kosovo and the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environment.
