Prishtina, 6 April 2006: 

UN-HABITAT in Kosovo announced the Municipal Spatial Planning Support Programme (MuSPP), funded by the Swedish Government through Sida, under which UN-HABITAT and Ministry of Environment and Spatial P;anning (MESP) will work towards improving the effectiveness of the spatial planning efforts in the six secondary municipalities of Kosovo, strengthening the dialogue between local and central level on spatial planning issues, building capacities of civil society organizations for an active participation in the planning process and supporting action planning has officially started.  The Programme will make the best use of the lessons learned during 6 years of UN-HABITAT Programmes implemented in Kosovo so far.
