Gjakovë/Djakovica, April 26 2007: The leaders of Gjakova/Djakovica municipality are committed to improve living conditions in informal settlements. These photos were taken during the first Field Workshop on Informal Settlement held in Gjakova/Djakovica. 

Pristina, 16 November 2006: Representatives of central and local governments, international and local experts on urban law, policies and regularization of informal settlements, local and regional NGO’s, OSCE Mission in Kosovo and MuSPP/UN-HABITAT gathered to discuss development of strategies on urban upgrading and the regularization of informal settlements in Kosovo.

Pristina, November 2006: Local and international experts, representatives of MuSPP/UN-HABITAT visited Kalabria informal settlement in Pristina. The visit was part of the workshop on urban upgrading and the regularization of informal settlements in Kosovo. 

Pristina, December 12 2006:Representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, UN-HABITAT Office in Kosovo, and OSCE Mission in Kosovo held a press conference making public the recommendations on the regularization of informal settlements and the upgrading of the urban areas.
