As part of its assistance given to the Municipality of Junik, Municipal Spatial Planning Support Programme (MuSPP) with the Directorate of Urbanism of this municipality, have designed the Capital Investment Project (CIP) in a high school in Junik “Kuvendi i Junikut”.

The CIP is focused on the improvement of the school yard and is also addressing accessibility issues in this school. This project was developed in inclusive manner, where all relevant stakeholders such as: pupils, teachers, civil society citizens and school management were invited and consulted during meetings and workshops.

With the consensus of all parties the final design of the project was prepared and now is ready to be tendered for the implementation. The total costs of the project amounting to US dollars 97 680, will be shared equally by the municipality of Junik and MuSPP funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).

On 10th of August 2010 the Mayor of Junik Mr. Agron Kuci and Chief Technical Advisor of the MuSPP Mrs. Krystyna Galezia will exchange the agreement of cooperation for implementing the above mentioned project. The exchange ceremony will start at 11.30 in the building of the Municipality of Junik.
