The workshop was organized by UN-HABITAT in partnership with Cultural Heritage without Borders, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and ICO, in Ohrid – Macedonia, from 25th to 29th of November, 2010.

Municipal officials including the Mayor, community members and representatives from different NGO’s operating in Graçanicë/Gračanica., as well as private sector representatives worked together to develop the vision for the future of their municipality.

The aim of the visioning workshop was to encourage the participants to share their thoughts and memories about their municipality and together start to think about the future, find ideas on how to make Graçanicë/Gračanica a better place for all.

This was the first step towards the municipal development plan and the outcomes from this workshop will be used as a contribution to the upcoming phases.

The results from the workshop will be presented to a wider audience and citizens of Graçanicë/Gračanica in the multi-media presantation to be held in a near future. This will provide an opportunity for discussions where additional suggestions and remarks will be taken into account.
