We are pleased to invite you to participate in the opening of the public review on the Draft Urban Development Plan (UDP) of the Municipality of Hani i Elezi. The opening day will be on 29th of April (Friday) 2011, at 10:15 am in the hall of the Culture House in Hani i Elezit.
This meeting is intended to officially launch the public review of UDP by inviting (citizens, representatives of different governmental and non-governmental and local and international organizations, civil society, business community, various interest groups and other stakeholders in general) by providing the opportunity to be familiar with the draft of Urban Development Plan of Hani i Elezit. This meeting is a starting point the public review process which will last for 30 day (according to the Law on Spatial Planning) will enable different participants to give their comments, raise issues and propose changes regarding proposals of the plan before the plan to be submitted for final approval at the Municipal Assembly of Hani i Elezit. Urban Development Plan of Hani i Elezi, is a strategic plan with multi-sectoral character giving clear vision and guidance for future spatial development of the urban zone. The plan has been drafted by the municipality of Hani i Elezit (Directorate of Urbanism, Cadastre and Environment) with the support of the Municipal Spatial Planning Support Programme (MuSPP) implemented by UN-HABITAT and funded by Sida. The entire planning process has also been supported by the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning (MESP) with necessary data and consulting.
