The Partite Review Meeting on Municipal Spatial Planning Support Programme (MuSPP)
Stakeholders
gathered at Hotel Grand in Pristina on 12 December to review MuSPP2 progress
and discuss future cooperation and challenges through the programme
implementation. Participants in this meeting were representatives of Swedish
Liaison Office/Swedish International Development Agency (Sida), Ministry of
Environment and Spatial Planning (MESP) the Department and Institute of Spatial
Planning, Culture Heritage without Borders (CHwB), Friedrich Ebert Stiftung
(FES), Partner Municipalities, UN-HABITAT Regional Office in Warsaw, and MuSPP
UN-HABITAT Kosovo.
Following were
an outline of the achievements and future projects and challenges the programme
brief by Garth Seneque (Chef Technical Adviser of UN-HABITAT, Kosovo) on, Ms.
Karen McDonald (Director of Sida) congratulated Kosovos effort on spatial
planning in each municipality and she emphasized
Overall,
the three partite review meeting was productive and promising for continuous
cooperation among stakeholders. The next steps were identified and discussed
among partners for necessary actions. UN-HABITAT Kosovo will continue supporting
MESP and partner municipalities of Kosovo on planning issues through MuSPP2.
